What we cover
Our guides explain common payroll terms, deductions, employee self-service systems, W-2 access and practical account troubleshooting.
How to use the payroll code guides
We distinguish widely used terms from possible employer-specific interpretations. Internal code definitions must be confirmed with the employer that produced the statement. Official sources support the underlying tax or benefit rules; they do not validate every employer abbreviation.
Worked examples use illustrative amounts and stated assumptions. They are intended to help readers reconcile a statement, not to calculate an individual’s tax liability or determine entitlement to a benefit.
Corrections and dates
A guide’s update date records a substantive content revision. Payroll regulations, benefit plans and portal destinations can change. If you find an error, use our contact page and include the guide address and an official source where available. Do not send a full pay stub, password or Social Security number.
Important limitation
We are not an employer, payroll processor, tax adviser or benefits administrator. We cannot access accounts, recover passwords or inspect personal payroll data. For account-specific help, contact your employer's HR or payroll team.
